Muskoka Custom Cottage Rentals Coronavirus (COVID-19) Cancellation Policy

Muskoka Custom Cottage Rentals would like to let guests during these uncertain time, that you are aware of are cancellation policies.

​

If there is a Emergency order / Stay at home order put in effect all rentals of less then 30 days could be in jeopardy.

​

• If the booking is over 30 days then the rental is allowed to proceed.

• All rentals for less than 30 days are subject to cancelled if there is an emergency order.

• For US and international Guest, as COVID 19 is a known disease, there are no exceptions for cancellation due to border closures.

Cancellation Insurance is Available!

Check with your Insurance company or bank or even thought your credit card company.

 

Our Cancellation Policy

• Under the $20,000/week rental, a guest may cancel the agreement 150 days prior to the start of the rental period and the deposit will be returned, less a fee of $2000.00/week of reservation. For rentals at $20,000/week and over, the cancellation fee is $4000/week of the rentals.

• ​​Guests that cancel the agreement 61 to 149 days prior to the start of the rental, all will be forfeited.

• Guests that cancel the agreement less than 60 days before the start of the agreement, the guest is responsible for the full amount of the rent and is not entitled to any refund.

Our Cleaning Process

​

Muskoka Custom Cottage Rentals hasn't changed are Clean process since COVID we clean everything from top to bottom with the right cleaning products. All bedding is washed if you have any other questions about our cleaning please contact us.

Moving Forward

​

If the government issues another lockdown/ stay at home order, all rentals of less than 30 days will unfortunately have to be cancelled. For this reason, many of the owners would prefer to secure rentals of 30 days or longer to avoid the possibility of future cancellations.

​

Due to the uncertainty of the virus and the inability to predict its course over the month to come, many owners have yet to provide us with their current rental availability. 

​

We ask for your patience and understanding as we work through the booking process, we will try our absolute best to accommodate your request.
